Stan's uncle is Jimbo, but Jimbo's last name is Kurn or something like that. not Marsh. Why is that?

Randy and Jimbo are first cousins, but to Stan, Jimbo is just an uncle. To compare, my sister has grandkids, but they call me uncle, heh.

Well that makes sense, you are their Great-Uncle. I never called any of my parent's cousins "Aunt" or Uncle", but that's just me.

Stone or Parker stated somewhere that Jimbo and Randy are half brothers with the same mom but different fathers.

That was the FAQ guy who answers the questions here. So yeah, they could be half-brothers instead.

That's right. My great-uncles and great-aunts (siblings of my grandparents and spouses of the siblings of my grandparents) call me nephew (not great-nephew), and I call them "Aunt" and "Uncle."
