I have to bring back this old topic, since I got my copy of the Special unrated version with all the extra material on post yesterday. The outtakes and deleted scenes kicked ass. And the drunken commentary too, although I think there were maybe a bit too many people making too much noise there. It made it difficult to recognize the voices and hear them clearly...

The one thing about the Special Edition DVD is: I still can't quite tell any real differences between the unrated and the NC-17 versions. While I may have to pop it in again one of these days, does anyone know off-hand?

I've never noticed a difference, either, Angus. I tried to look for one, too.

I saw it at Best Buy, and almost got it. I wonder what version it was.

I can't see any drastic difference between the two versions either.

Bug, if you saw it there just recently, it was both versions on the same disc. As you "Play Movie," it will ask if you want the theatrical or unrated version. The earlier DVD release is hell and long gone out of print, from what I understand.

I dunno if this is the right place to put it, but I justify it in my own mind, people who haven't seen Alferd Packer: The Musical, I have seen this link all over the place and since it's rarer than Orgazmo I thought what the f*ck... SHPADOINKLE.

A little reading should clear that right up.

Am I the only one who finds it really hard to hear the three commentaries on the DVD?

Why exactly is it hard?

What's the problem? Low volume, or too many voices?

The movies volume is still all the way up and the commentaries are like buried in the mix...then again I've only tried it on one TV, maybe I should put it in a few others.

I remember watching it late at night sometime in '98 and '99 and being quite taken aback by it all (I enjoyed it, but didn't quite get lots of the humour...had to do with not hitting puberty yet)
Re-watching it a few years later, super hilarious and still holds up today. Ron Jeremy aside, is it wrong to recognise actual porn star cameos in Orgazmo?
