Giant Monsters Attack Japan

I'm a Wikipedia addict, and after I read Trey Parker's entry, I learned that:
1) Trey and Matt have thought about doing a movie called "Giant Monsters Attack Japan", which will bring back the special effect of man wearing rubber suit.
2) They have also thought about collaborating with the creators of Avenue Q and make a musical.
Is it just me, or does it seem obvious that these two projects need to be combined? It could include a large dance number by the Japanese Defense Force, a heart-warming solo from one of the giant monsters as he sings about his lonliness and being misunderstood.
I dunno. Just a thought.

while the idea of trey parker writing a movie about "giant monsters attacking japan" makes me giddy like a school girl, the idea of that mixed with Avenue Q-type humor makes me want to cry.
i think trey should lay off the musicals. the occasional song in south park and in team america works great, but an entire musical would just be too repetitive i think.

I would have to agree with SP109 on this one. I am willing to check out that "Giant Monsters" movie once it's released, but somehow, I don't think it would work as a musical. Maybe more with a wild soundtrack, like "Team America," but that's as far as it should go.

Yeah it doesn't have to be a total musical.It could just have a musical scene and a wild soundtrack or something.
In any case giant japanese monsters plus M&T sounds pretty kickass.

There's only one humongous, Babera-streisand's-nose-sized problem with this whole thing; the wait till 2009! I just can't take a wait that long! Hopefully season 11 will be out in good old England by then...
