It wasn't better than Team America, both that film and Baseketball were genius.

i think the reason that they people hate is because it is not one of matt and/or trey's films. they are just actors in it. it was directed by and helped written by david Zucker. BASEketball is the sh*t though either way

Around the time BASEketball came out, there was a backlash against South Park in general at the time. I think BASEketball suffered a little bit because there were people going around hating Matt and Trey with a true passion. They just didn't "get it" (South Park or BASEketball)).

That reputation has carried on with the film. But even though the headlines didn't like BASEketball much doesn't mean it's not a worthy film. We all know it is.

Trey acts like he's against it because it's not one of his own creations and it bugs him when people get confused and say/think it is. Because there are plenty of "Trey creations" that deserve mentioning rather than something he simply starred in.

BASEketball kicked ass. Espically the part where they were in the girls house with the mothers dildo, The hospital scene where Trey like almost kills the kid with cancer, and the Unsolved Mysteries spoof. Classic man. I think they should make a BASEketball 2 personally and I never heard of Trey & Matt talking down on BASEketball?

I have seen it like 3 or 4 times and I found out just a week ago that Matt and Trey play the lead :p.
But I have been a South Park fan at least 2 years.

I thought BASEketball was hilarious especially the begining with the football players. It calls alot of people out on stupid stuff they do which is exactly what southpark does. If anyone likes southpark they should definitely like BASEketball

I agree ^ with the comment above mine ^. But I also think a lot of the hate is a part of the fun.

Baseketball is a good movie, I thought it was funny as hell. I've only watched it a handful of times but I could stand watching it at any given notice.
