...would it be rated NC-17?

I mean,

"f*ck you God in the ass, mouth, and pussycat.
f*ck you God in the ass, mouth, and pussycat.
f*ck you God in the ass, mouth, and pussycat.
f*ck you in the eye.
Hasa Diga Eebowai.
f*ck you in the other eye."

pussycat is a rarely used curse that might push the movie over the edge.

I'd like to see a Book of Mormon movie become historically significant by being the first commercially successful NC-17 film. Sadly, it's more likely they'd just censor it and release an uncensored version on DVD/Blu-Ray.

Probably. Or it could be R, and an unrated version would appear on DVD and BD.

I saw the play at Broadway. I thought it was very entertaining. The song "f*ck You God" was pretty funny.

I think Book of Mormon being turned into a theatrical film would be excellent.
My favorite SP characters: Cartman and Butters.

My favorite food: anything pasta related.

Yeah, I expect to see this as a movie, especially since they started Important Studios. From my understanding, that studio is meant for non-South Park ventures as well as third-party productions. So yeah, I expect to see a Book of Mormon feature film in a couple years.
