When I go to the chat I come in as anonymous and I can't chat with any one. How can I fix this?

Usually the room automatically voices you (+v) and then you can start chatting. If that's not happening, click on the name of one of the ops there (the ones with @ before their names) and ask to be voiced. If none of them are responding, you're out of luck for a few minutes.

Also, you may have entered the chat when you're the only one in there!

Sometimes, people are logged into the chat but away from their computers. So you'll see their names, but if they're not at their keyboard they don't know you're there.

So just start chatting. If ppl are in chat they will chat back. If no one chats back then try again later.

Oh, and for the "anonymous" part - that's a default nickname. To change the nickname to anything you want, type the following. For example, let's say you want your nickname to be Randy:

Type the following:

/nick Randy


And that's all there is to changing your nickname from the default "anonymous."

Another example: You now want your nickname to be Kenny. Type:

/nick Kenny

Thanks, the name change works, now if only some one is ON the keyboard I could talk to them
