Things are completely random in Chrome. Firefox must have something weird in the latest update.

I made this thread dealing exclusively with Season 16 issues. As all we have at the moment on the South Park Video Player is Season 16's S16E01 preview clip, I will start with that:

The clip does not play. It does not load. The Terrance and Phillip icons which show as the clip loads do not appear. It's just a dead page

OS: Mac OS X Lion ver. 10.7.3
Browser: Safari ver. 5.1.3 (7534.53.10)
Flash: ver. 11,1,102,64

Connection: DSL

AdBlock is installed; I disabled it. Made no difference.

Have you tried viewing on Wills site for the time being dude?

Anyway, it again is just a black screen for the clip. I've included a screen grab from Wil's site. Thanks for the suggestion, James.

You could try the website using Firefox if not already that works better that I.E

All I do in embed this site's video on my site, so if it doesn't work here, it won't work there.

Maybe Safari doesn't play nice with this site, or vice versa.

I rarely use the virtual machine on my Mac (it's called: Parallels). I have (among other OS) Windows XP Home. It has the latest Microsoft Security Updates, and to test tonight I used the Safari Browser designed for Windows (and checked to make sure the latest adobe flash was running) instead of Firefox or IE8.

I saw the clip! It played just fine

The resolution (compared to seeing it on the Mac side) was not as clear; that's to be expected on a 32-bit vs 64-bit and screen pixel resolution of XP vs Lion. But the clip played

I don't like running Parallels; it is sooooo slow However, it is a work-a-round for me to watch clips and I presume the future Season 16 episodes on the SPS Episode Player.

On the Mac side, Lion is a 64-bit system; on the Parallels/Windows side it is 32-bit. I don't know if that makes any difference in this issue but I'm throwing it out there.

So: Under Mac OS X 64-bit Lion/Safari, the clip does not play. It doesn't even load. But under Windows XP 32-bit/Safari, the clip plays fine. Nall/BearyBear, what's going on?

Well, the 32-bit Safari for Widows works on this site using the 32-bit Windows XP Home

Hopefully nall and/or BearyBear may have an answer

But Lion/Safari 64-bit is not functioning here on the site (for video viewing).

Update:

I had (on the Mac side) Browser: Safari ver. 5.1.3 (7534.53.10).

Today (the very next day) Apple upgraded Safari to ver. 5.14 (7534.54.16).

I am still unable to view the pre-view clip. However instead of the link to the clip totally being blank and a black screen, I now finally see the moving head icons of Terrence and Phillip, something I did not see before while attempting to view this clip.

However, after the T&&P icon is over, once again there is a dead, blank screen

The site doesn't like Apple Pi+2.

nall, add 1601 to the issues of this thread of things that do not play on my system. That's the preview clip for 16 and the first episode.

Don't know what's going on, but no audio play's when I open episode's. Uninstalled Quicktime, checked for Windows Vista Updates, checked for flash update, restarted computer. What is wrong?!?!?!?!?

Plays fine for me. I use Chrome.

Is there any reason why only adds will show up on the new southpark episode? It goes to 20 minutes of commercial and then stops asking if I want to watch again. I thought the show would be out on southparkstudios for at least two days...

Whenever I play an episode, it just plays a long string of ads and then takes me to the "you just watched" screen. It also plays the little South Part pre-screen with everyone waving, but none of the actual episode is shown.

I'm on a Macbook Pro OSX 10.5.4 using Chrome and a Cable connection no firewalls or ad blockers active. Any idea what the problem is?

All it plays is the Jack in the Box commercial and then the player acts like I watched the whole episode and asks if I want to replay. Just letting everyone know if they have had a similar issue.
