The cartoon I grew up on was the old-school pokemon series. I still think some parts of it are funny, if you listen closely there's actually a lot of adult humor in it. Example: the episode with the huge Dragonite:
Jesse: That's a big pokemon.
James: So size DOES matter.

^^ I see. Okay. I guess I missed out on some funny stuff. (I could never get into Pokemon. I guess it's because I was developing my tastes when it comes to anime and such. I was more into Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, the Big O, and, a little later, Outlaw Star.)

Now then, if I may get back to the original topic, the following has been helping me move on. (I originally posted this in a different thread, but I realized it didn't fit so I moved it here.)

Wow...pretty good song Gem. Songs like that help you feel better, as well as they should. But sometimes, I like to play a song that sends the opposing party away. You know what they say, a good offense is the best defense. If they bother you again, just send this song!

OMG! So funny you say that! We tried to make that our song, but we realized that we are each other's best friend... so the Queen song fit.

For my birthday one year, I caught my man sneaking around the side of my house. I stepped out and asked "what are you doing?" And he froze and said "Um first of all... you don't see me. Second where is there an outlet for me to plug this in?" I said "why?" And he held up the boom box slowly above his head. I laughed and said "hell no Dad will laugh at you!"

I like having buds with the same taste in music as well. Most of my friends are into modern stuff, I'm much more of a classic rock guy. My favorite band is Led Zeppelin, second is AC/DC, third is Queen, but they're all pretty close, it depends on my mood. You know something? I will genuinely miss this forum when I go to the Navy, and I'll especially miss talking to you two...
