And you know what this means?! The ISPs are about to sell us out to Hollywood and RIAA! It will be the end of the Internet as we know it... AGAIN! :cartmancry:

It always is. It's like the end of the world - the date comes and goes and we're all still here.

Don't like it? Switch to a local ISP that probably isn't involved with the RIAA.

Time Warner, Comcrap, AT&T, Verizon, big boy companies aren't the only ISPs in existence.

Someone's crying wolf. I'm sick of all these rumors and stuff that never happen because either the government will interfere or there will be another petition to try to stop it (See SOPA).

Oh, and the world is not ending on December 21st. Nostradamus said 3197 and right now he has a better prediction record than these "myans," again they probably ran out of numbers or their circles who knows.

So A) the internet is not ending....and eventually, we might have to pay more to use it but that's typical. and B) the world is not ending (at this moment anyways) so please STOP!! :x

To be fair, the Mayans simply noted when the next long count will begin, and they might have looked forward to celebrating it. All the doom and gloom attached to the date now is American invention.

Perhaps the petition may help if we don't want the internet to get shut down for piracy!

Everyone just needs to read up on how to configure an anonymous proxy to use with their browser or bit torrent client or p2p program to use when downloading "copyrighted" material. It's super easy and the RIAA, the MPAA or your ISP can't do shit about it. They'll never know it's you downloading that movie or album. It'll look like some server in Russia or Norway or whatever.
They are trying to fight a battle that was lost a decade ago. But rather than come up with a product that is superior to those available for free download, they're trying to plug the dam breach after all the water has drained out.

You read it! You can't unread it!

Just glad I don't watch movies or play video games. (even though games aren't going to be part of this) And I am not an audiophile and am content with low quality sound from YouTube.
I have been here since January 2005 with another name. I have seniority. (.__. )

Plants stuff their pollen everywhere, all those kids who get allergies because of pollen have plant sperm in their lungs. Flowers deep throat kids :I
