As for my Alma Mater ( OK State) we have QB issues.

But with all the injuries Green Bay has received in the first half of the season, it's going to be really hard to make a run. I mean there is a serious dearth of star players on defense now. Then again there were tons of injuries in 2010 and we all know how that season ended.

I don't know though, it's worse this year than in '010.

Those Texans though; I'd hate to jinx them, but I think they're a lock for the AFC #1 seed. At most, there's one loss in their remaining schedule.

I keep imagining what would've happened had Cushing been healthy when our two teams tangled a few weeks ago, tmx. Would it have been closer? Would we have beaten you? Who knows? At any rate. As long as we don't suffer too many more serious injuries, I think we'll be fine.

In college football news, Houston's eliminated from bowl contention, and NOTRE DAME IS NUMBER ONE!

Our teams are both one step closer to a rematch, Gem! Houston has a tougher road to get there, though. Lotsa folks picking Denver to win it all. Pack looked pretty good in the rematch vs. Minnesota. Should be a good game in San Fran. I know Rodgers wants another crack at that defense.

The Ravens took care of one rookie QB; now the battle of rookies is about to start. I'm rooting for Washington because Seattle's record is fraudulent. That goddamn Fail Mary cost the Pack a first round bye. So I want them to lose.

I'm still left wondering how it would've gone down if the Pack hadn't been fucked by the scab refs. That bullshit cost Green Bay a first round bye and a home game in the divisional round as it turned out. Then again, so did that pathetic loss to Minnesota at the end of the season. But that wasn't the fault of any terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad officiating. The Vikings played better that day.

Well, Houston lost to New England. (It was a closer game this time and we went down fighting so I'm getting over it.) Also, Notre Dame lost to Alabama. (Of course.)

Speaking of Notre Dame...there's a story out there saying Manti T'eo's late girlfriend didn't even exist. That's right. Part of the most inspiration story of the entire college football season may be fraudulent. Story via deadspin.com.
