Let me go over 2013 so far.

2012, I went to sleep. Woke up in 2013.

Rotten New Years Day. Just cold and miserable. Neck pain. Shoulder pain. Ouch.

Today, I learn one of the last AM music stations in Milwaukee is going sports talk. Milwaukee already has 3 others. They all get crap ratings. Reason for the change? No idea what else to do with the station. It's a Classic Country station now. It had been Oldies, Adult Standards and Top-40 in it's past. Been music since 1950.

January is always awesome. I love January (full sarcasm there)

Hope everybody else is having a wonderful 2013. I'm not going to let my burdens ruin your new year.

Well, hm between us... I also wondered why the avatars left us.

I can top that. One of the greatest R&B stations in the metroplex (quite possibly anywhere) has gone under. KKDA Soul 73 changed formats yesterday. I suppose the writing was on the wall when they came in and fired 90% of the staff 6 months ago. Willis Johnson kept his morning show (which had been going for nearly 40 years), but things weren't the same. Especially since axing the overnight show. Damn I can't remember the name of the guy who ran it, but it was wheels off and awesome. Everything went. Full blown cussing, if he wanted to take calls all night long and discuss nothing he did. And god help you if you were a woman calling in.
Changing formats is one thing, but changing to what it did... Korean radio? Talk about a shock. (and yes, the joke of 'Seoul' 73 has been made ) God, I wish I could see what the reaction of the leftover fans were when they turned on the radio and heard that the other day.

Blame poor board maintenance for the missing avatars. I have no control over that.
