Does it exist in the LGBT community? Because my gay friend says he has a lover generally dislikes straight people for... you know.

He must have a very small circle of friends.

If it does, it shouldn't. Heterophobia is a neologism used as a snarl word to delegitimize the gay rights movement's campaign for equal treatment and an end to anti-gay bigotry. But if it does, it's just the same as a straight person who has homosexual leanings and tries to keep them hidden by acting as a homophobe.

Well I'm for gay rights. I was just curious because since we have bigots who are against gays, lesbians, and bisexuals, the thought crossed my mind that there must been some resentment by the LGBT community towards heterosexuals.

It definitely exists. One a community forms, us vs them attitudes are likely to appear. Especially if that community is small and under attack.
I recently saw a documentary on the stonewall riots and some gays there were echoing Plato in calling strait relationships inherently unequal and immoral and I've seen gender separatists and those who blame all the world's problems on 'breeders.'

A heterophobic video recently got big on youtube. Thankfully, most gay people oppose this notion and I found that video through one of the many responses to it by a gay guy.
AND BY THE WAY, I WIN
