It's been a while since I started this but I am willing to wait as long as it takes until I have a very large amount of votes.

Seven years ago the mods and admins got together and posted a set of rules for the board to follow. One of them was this one:

"Stop posting threads about a second South Park movie. Matt and Trey are not considering making it, and they sure as hell won't be influenced by fans who want it."

This poll appeared two years ago, five years after that rule was posted, and I let it pass. As far as we know, Matt and Trey still don't plan to make SP:BLU2 unless they can think of a plot that's more awesome than than one for SP:BLU. They'll probably bring The Book of Mormon to the big screen first.

Speaking of another movie, I just found this:

I had no idea M&T had any interest in doing another SP movie. This one could serve as the end of the series though, which was one of Trey and Matt's scenarios for making a second South Park film.

WB and PP (Paramount Pictures) share the rights to more SP movies, but WB will give up its share for 5 years to concentrate on Interstellar, an upcoming movie from Christopher Nolan. Whether an actual SP movie will come out in those five years or not is not known, but there is this tweet from two days ago:

Nah, this article is just about movie rights. WB is just giving up its share for 5 years. Whether or not a new SP movie will appear in that time is not known,

Pro: with only ten episodes to make instead of 14, they have an extra month to make movies and handle their play.

Con: They've ignored talk about a second movie for years, preferring to concentrate on the show, and they'll probably keep ignoring it for another three years. Season 20 begins in September of 2013, so we might have something definitive before then.

Yes, another movie, but not a seque and only when south park has ended and with really good graphics. I'm talking about serious high tech sand paper to make that cardboard real smooth.

I think Paramount is going to instead work on a new installment of the Friday the 13th franchise that they won back from Warner Bros.
