We have no idea when the hell they will be released, and you won't get anywhere posting about it on the board. Write to Comedy Central about it.

Ok im probly gonna get my head shoved up my ass for asking these....

Firstly, Ive read around the forums that there were plans to release the fifth season in the UK in 2002 then they cancelled it? Why?

Secondly, They show Seasons 5,6,7,8,9,10 in the UK (Paramount, and MTV) and yet no DVD season Sets! Hmmmm Confusing......

And Thirdly, Seasons 3 and 4 Are available on DVD box Set Seasons but Season 1 & 2 have been discontinued? Why?

Are they planning on releasing the sets they have in the US on region 2 DVD for europe? Or are they just f*cking the UK around just like every other company does? I dont no.... I mean i dont personaly care that much because i bought season 1 before it was deleted for £49.99p and bought seasons 3 & 4 and Season 2 from Ebay, and i get my other seasons region 1 US, CA from ebay too (5,6,7,8) i was just wondering why only season 3 & 4 are available and whats going on with any future UK South Park Season DVD Releases! I know one of the board admins said they are expected in 2006 to be released but i see no pre-orders on amazon and nothing on hmv.co.uk.... I think for people who dont use ebay and who are big SP fans they are being dicked around a bit.



EDIT - Oh yeah by the way i have written to 'Comedy Central' about the seasons in the UK before i got my R1 seasons from ebay and they responded with...:

Comedy Central - "We are not sure when exactly the seasons will be released but please rest assured we will hopefully see South park seasons released to the UK viewers sometime in the near future "

... now if im not mistaken but that does not help anyone

That's good news. You guys finally get some dvd releases.

Just buy a cheap R.F dvd player on ebay then buy the R1 Verisons tFrom Play U.S.A.com. Thats what I do , I got season 9 ages ago when it first came out , besides I don't like The uk verisons because they don't have commentary mini and also means my family from the U.S can sent new SP DVD for my BDay and xmass

Acording to amazon.co.uk their releasin series 1,2,3 and 5.

If you also look on Virgin Megastores, the covers are the exact same ones as the United States ones.

They're also being released under Paramount which means that I think they'll have the same extras and things.

The dvd artork has bean released it exactly the same as the americans but with the Brithish rating "15" instead.

okay well season 5 is out. ive seen it in the shops. so much for "June 2009" on the FAQs page.

I've also been told that Season 6 is coming out sometime in March, anybody know if this is true?

Yes season 6 will be out in march 2008 it is released on 3/3/2008 season 3 and 4 are released the same day

Im getting S5 for Christmas, i live in the netherlands
