Ok, Kyle's mom always calls him Bubbie, as a nickname. At first, I thought it was a term for brother. But, I looked into it, and found it was a Yiddish term (a Jewish language) So after about a hour trying to find it, I found out Bubbie (or Bubbala) means grandmother. WHAT? Can anyone (preferably who speaks Yiddish) clear this up? Ok, just wanted to put that out there.

Officially, it's Grandma, but now people use it on each other no matter the relationship between them.
My SP Fan Site.

Favorite Character: Chef (RIP, for reals this time)
Favorite Episode: Anyone with Butters in it.

As mentioned it's one of those phrases that pops up and is a general term of affection in modern usage.

Keep in mind that not a whole lot of Jews nowadays, in the states or Israel, speak Yiddish anymore, so phrases have changed a bit in how they are used.
