Used to be worth it to visit this site. PostThu Dec 13, 2012 4:27 pm Offline

Honestly, though, it's gotten so bad with the technical issues, loading times, and number of ads, that it's just not worth fighting with anymore.

I loved this site to death when I first found it, because it meant I had a way to watch a show I sincerely love without sh*tting money down the hole that is TV service. No need to torrent, no reason to visit an unaffiliated site, and maybe a little bit of that ad revenue would actually make it back to the team producing the show.

Not worth the trouble anymore. The technical problems are so bad I can't even watch an episode. Not one. The player just crashes, or it goes into an infinite ad loop, or it has to wait an hour to buffer.

How is it that these problems aren't fixed? Does no one on the staff actually care? Web content should be kicking the sh*t out of network TV at this point, but websites like this can never seem to get it together.

What the hell, guys.

And no, "Install adblock" is not a solution. I want to generate ad revenue, otherwise I'd download a f*cking torrent.

I don't have any technical issues (using Chrome, Mac) so I'd also recommend ensuring your flash player is up to date. Maybe even try a different browser. I guess they're not fixing these problems either because they are not widespread or they can't reproduce them.

Couldn't agree more - yes, it's as if they really want to kill off the audience. I've just started getting these 'click to continue' Pizza Hut pop-out ads ... and not one, but about 4 per episode.

Now imagine I like Pizzahut pizza and plan to pop in to the store tomorrow and check it out but meanwhile I want to watch a couple of SP episodes ... am I still going to feel that way about PizzaHut after seeing the ad 8 times and each time being forced to click 'dismiss' at the end of it?

Totally ruined the site for me. I can't even perceive how anyone could have thought that was a good idea. They've gone from no ads at all to screwing up viewer enjoyment in a very short space of time.
