I practically did that this weekend. I decided to come down around Kerrville to visit my Aunt. On the way down I got so tired I stopped in Lampasas for dinner and a car-nap. Neither did me any good. I wound up getting a motel for the night. It wasn't as cheap as it should've been, and the room was... dogeared (and the bed hard), but that was the best night's sleep I've had in a while. I showed up at Mary's around 9am, after leaving the motel at 6:30. (Doesn't usually seem to take that long )

I swear, the more I work in retail, having to interact with people every day, the more I retreat into my "shell". I'm okay at the beginning of the week, but by the end of it, rather than engaging every customer, I'm more in a 'leave me the fvck alone' mindset. I also think that partially explains why I've been more quiet on here than usual. It's not only that I often come right home and go to sleep, or that I'm running around trying to get stuff done that I can't while I'm working. It's also an 'observe only' type of thing I seem to have gotten into. Hell, I bailed on commenting on one of PT's posts last night because I couldn't find a YT clip, and I didn't just want to quote a movie out of my ass. I dunno, maybe it has to do with getting older too.

I get it. I had this big reply all planned out and I accidentally hit my browser's back button and lost it all.
Getting older and world-weary of people's bullcrap is totally understandable.

But I think we forum vets (adults only) should synchronize vacation schedules and meet up in some warm, sunny place near the ocean and just party our asses off for a week - Sun, swimming, drinks, music, and whatever. I think that would change all our outlooks.

It's not going to happen, of course, but if it did - damn.

And, like, T.V. I can't use that, ever. I need to say television. I can't really us BS, but if I'm not trying to curse, I will, to try and get my point across.

Nah, I mean words that people type or use in text, you know? Like, LOL, OMG, ROTFL, OMFG, BTW, BRB, WHT, etc.

Confession: I'm starting to not like school so much. (I don't hate it, but it's starting to get more stressful than it should be already, and that's actually my fault. I need to have better time management skills.)

As do everybody else who go to school.

when i graduated, i cut my uniform up and threw it away. that... shows how much i hate it.
