Yesterday, I went to go read at a poetry slam. I took the train to New Westminster (the next f*cking town over, nearly two hours from my house) and found out that it had been canceled. I didn't want to go home, so I stayed and had dinner and a couple glasses of wine and there was live music. Of course, I didn't get to read my poetry :\ But I had a good time.

I love Android as an OS. And I love that my phone runs flash. I don't love my phone. It's buggy as f*ck, and I'm still a year away from an upgrade. I might be able to get them to get me an early upgrade, but I'm almost to the point where I want to buy a phone outright. Even if it is gonna cost $700. (that samsung galaxy s III looks shexshy.)

I find it weird that I play with my hair when I'm REALLY into a good read. Or into a story someone is telling me or I'm reading. All in all:

You can tell if I like something or if I'm really into something you're doing, saying, or writing.

I don't know if it can tell if I'm into someone, though. =P

Rondame: This (horizontal) stack of records is what I've listened to so far in the past month or so. This stack is stuff I have yet to listen to. And it grows more and more each weekend as I stumbe upon more and more finds at various stores. (I may have a problem)

You should consider slowing down with the shopping spree, or you'll end up like Stan in Insheeption.

I'm like that with books. I have repeatedly run out of room and I have piles of them around the floor.

I'm one of those "books can only be read once" so i usually land up lending/borrowing books

I usually only read books once too, but I like to collect them too. XD

^ I've got a few old books, myself, some of them dating back to the late 1800s!

Some are cheap if you know where to find 'em.

Hi, everyone! Sorry I've been out so long. Things at home have been a bit busy, and therefore had limited my visits here, as well as other sites I enjoy visiting. But at least I can still find the time when I'm at the other source away from home.

I like to read, any suggestions to this nerdy girl? I like to read horror, like The Nightmarys and more, mystery if its really good, and I think that's it.

I read things I don't have to like fanfic and magazines but don't read textbooks :I

You might like The Master and Margarita. (I will pimp this book at every opportunity.) It's about Satan coming to Moscow and wreaking havoc. It has a cat that drinks cognac in it.
