I learned that hippies are cool.... but they just get stoned.... we are all like termites.... taking from the earth... but never giving back.

Ok boys and girls! Class is really easy today. First, just take only two brain cells, and rub them together.
No hippie music=No heavy metal, punk, alternative, etc, etc
Very easy really.
No hippie music=no bands like slayer.
Very very easy. Heavy metal didn't even grow out of rock-n-roll, it grew out of the malformed rock and roll brought on by those evil 60's hippies. From the Pretty Things to Jimmy Hendrix to John Lennon smashing in his amp to get that fuzzy crunch guitar on Revolution, on to greats like Black Sabbath.
At least thank hippies for all the forms of metal, death, and even punk we have today.

LOL
[quote]i have learned that although hippies preach love, peace and tolerance of one another they are full of crap. hippies tried to create a utopian society in episode 902. now listen to me, children, utopian societies are bad. they are like cults. while utopian societies seem cool at face value, they are really totally stupid and gay. they almost choked out south park, because of their stupid jam band festival.
the other point i would like to observe: the methods used to fix the hippie problem (cartman, violence, and even slayer) are all considered "evil" in this day and age. now isn't it interesting that when the powers of love and peace become too much, and threaten life as we know it, the public turns to what some people see as evil.
Isnt' that just so cute! This third grader actually thinks that any movement of people in a society to push ideas forward, (especially living in a democracy, lol) are light forms of nazi's! The civil rights movement included I bet. All those blacks did was march and protest to try to say that they are 'humans' or something or should be treated as 'equals'. It's funny to think that these kids that sooo much hate these 'hippy' rock shows, would never find themselves at one, so they have no way of knowing anything about real people. Of course the animated hippies in the fiction world of episode 902 were idiots and hypocrites. They sure were, everything they said. I'm sure some of these stereotypes exist. But the last time I heard any lefties talking about what they wanted in 'changing society' had nothing to do with utopia. Even simplistic films like easy rider already burned dumb hippies for just trying to recreate society off to themselves. The only thing I hear is stuff like, we want decent wages to work on, or women deserve equal rights, or at least don't cut ALL the redwoods down. Pretty simple stuff it seems.

First off, calling any people a waste of oxygen is a pretty violent statement in itself. Once again, I'd love to hear your opinions on how the civil rights movement were all just people bitching as well. I can possibly concieve in any scientific manner how South Park could be on television today if it wasn't for all the cultural revolutions in the sixties. There is NO possible way South Park would exist. You called me a hippie back because you obviously think that anyone who defends someone is that thing itself. That would be weird wouldn't it? Wierd science! I see multiple sides all moving together in one perfect ocean that balances itself out in the end. Hypocrites of all types create a functional balance of ideas and we can call that clumsy thing democracy, wonderful. The right does the same thing themselves, going from one topic to bitch about, like gay marriage, to the next like don't let Terry Schiavio die. Right to life. Interesting. So killing 100,000 civilians in Iraq was justified because in the end it will make the world a better place. Perhaps so we'll see. But these people won't even kill a stem cell to help make the world a better place! So basically Iraqi's are worth less than stem cells.
