In Big Gay Al's Gay Boat Ride, during the football game, they constantly show people in the stands and one of them is a kid who looks just like Token, only he's white. He has the same shirt and hair and everything but he's just white. Must of been before they realized they wanted a black kid to be in South Park.

"White Token" also appears in Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo. Watch the scene where the bleachers are filling up for the holiday production, you can see him sitting in the top row.

Was that episode before or after they introduced Token. I'm just wondering at what point did they decide to make him the "black kid in town."

token was there since cartman gets an anal probe he appears at the first school scene ever but never spoke, the white token in big gay al's ride was probably just to fill in the one im mr. hankey the christmas poo too.. probably because they didnt have much characters to fill in the audience.

That's weird, but pretty funny. Not much point having the 'T' on his shirt if he's white. Notice the black hands?

I don't know if there was a black Token in the earliest episodes, but if there was then maybe they just used the same body parts to make another character to save paper?

Though I think it's more likely that it just hadn't occurred to them to make a black token at that stage in the story, and he just had the T on his shirt by co-incidence.
