Loved this episode. The entire BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25th CENTURY homage struck me as totally inspired. Loved the future folks with their costumes from various shows. The purple bowl-cut hair folks are from the old Gerry Anderson series UFO. Not sure where the funny hats come from (unless they are indeed condoms for the dickheads). And the otters, well, they struck me like the manatees did: absolutely off-the-wall and absolutely hilarious!
Definitely a 10 out of 10 for me.
As far as the message of the episode goes, it's clear to me (judging from this thread) that even without religion, folks are going to find SOMETHING to fight about. Usually resources, but definitely ideologies as well, be they religions or trading systems.

One of the first episodes I ever saw and my introduction to the almigtilly British Dawkins; no matter what he complains, they got his accent down to a tee! The buck rogers parrody was unexpected and hillarious. Way to defend evolution and attack evolutionism at the same time. The only funny role of Mrs Garrison here too. FSM got himself dvertised, Ramen for that! Stan's "perhaps evolution is the answer to how and not why" is a good summery of the arguments contempory theists use for religion and evolution's compataqbility... and the wars of athiesm, pretty pesemistic but also pretty likely.

I was rolling around laughing at this one for ages! I just loved Dawkins being in it, I can't stand him!! It was soo funny. there is no argument between so-called "creationism" and evolution since creationism is not even remotely connected to reality, evolution is closer to reality. However, in my opinion many "scientists" dawkins included, make a rather magical leap form the theory of natural selection to this idea of evolution which somehow excludes God and is inherently progressive???
The begining and end of the the theory of "evolution" is Natural Selection, this theory contains nothing whatsoever regarding the Divine!
