And Benedict is right: Killing Jesus ISN'T very Christian, but Benedict is unaware that it is the traditional Jewish way, since Jesus and Kyle are both Jews. Oh, almost forgot: When Jesus asks Kyle to kill him, Kyle is reluctant and asks him to kill himself, but Jesus refuses, as he knows that suicide is blasphemy and goes against his nature; for his resurrection superpowers only work when he is killed by someone else.

Didn't you catch that Jesus-killing scene as a reference to one of the episodes of Dragon Ball Z?

That was excellent. So many parts that I cracked up on. It just seemed genuinely funny for most of the episode.

My personal favorite was the pope's hat and the bunny ears. But Kyle killing jesus and Jesus throwing the Shurikan or whatever was priceless.

This episode was great the best of the season. Kyle killing Jesus is priceless but i was expecting eric to walk in like nothing as soon as he did that. And yay jesus is back blade style.
They have been on fire on every episode this season

It seems that they took all that right out of my head. It wasn't a "Catholicism is stupid" kind of moral, but talked more about how these leaders don't know what being Christian really is and take their wrong ideas to the extreme.

This episode was great, best episode since Season 8, with the exception of Cartoon Wars Pt. II, in my opinion. Goes in my top 5 favorite episodes of all time.

In Jesus' time, Israel was under Roman rule. The right to put anyone to death was taken away so that the Sanhedrin had to turn criminals over to Rome for the death penalty. Had the Jews had their way, Jesus would have been stoned to death rather than crucified.

Sorry about that. Did I ever mention that the "power of resurrection" is his second superpower (the first one was "master carpentry" in "Super Best Friends")? Oh, and Jesus' ordering Kyle to kill him kinda echoes the one about Grandpa Marvin Marsh ordering his grandson Stan to kill him in the episode "Death", since both Jesus and Marvin can't kill themselves (to Jesus, suicide is blasphemy and goes against his nature, since Judaism forbids suicide).
