Kyle is obviously a diabetic, his kidney shutting down is a common thing. Type 1 Diabetes is a common thing for kids, and is genetic, not what you eat. Diabetes is when your pancreas shuts down and is unable to produce insulin. My sister is a diabetic, so i know a lot about this. The reason Kyles disease is not talked about in the show might be because he has a pump. A pump is a small device that attaches to your clothes that pumps insulin into the body while it tracks your blood sugar. So, he wouldnt have to worry about it that much. So, yeah. I love this episode because it reminds me of Kenny Dies, but 1,000 times better. Love this episode. One of my favs.
