Cartman dresses up like a robot, calls himself AWESOM-O, and moves in with Butters. His plan is to learn all of Butter's innermost secrets and then use them against him. While Butters is thrilled to have found a new best friend, the Army believes AWESOM-O is some new secret weapon, and Hollywood is after the phony robot to develop their next big blockbuster.

This episode is one of the finest pieces of Trey and Matt's work. This has to be my third favorite episode I have seen so far. My favorite episode still has to be Cartman's Silly Hate Crime, followed by, Scott Tenormen must die. I can watch AWESOM-O for ever day for the rest of my life and never get board of it.

OMG what a great episode! I was afraid of how it might go, how much Cartman would humiliate poor Butters... but no, Butters got back at him for once! OMG my little Butters finally caught his break! He wasn't grounded or made fun of or thought to be gay or walked away from another trick defeated. He had something up his sleeve! You have no idea how happy I was when I saw Cartman dancing around as Britney Spears!!! *cheers* Yaaa Butters!!!

Oh, funny when Kyle asked 'AWESOM-O' a request and he said 'suck my balls.'

So cute, all the times Butters was singing. And when Cartman had to stick that thing up Butters' rectrum-

10/10 just for awesome Butters!

Two things to say here. One: BEST EPISODE EVER. Butters kicking Cartman's ass for once - genius. Total genius.

And two: Did anyone else notice that at 20:21 - 20:23, Butters' voice sounds exactly like Kyle's voice instead of his own? I've seen this episode like a dozen times, but didn't seem to realize it until now...maybe they confused the voice-over editing thingamajig?

Yeah, you're right southparkaddicted24. After awesom-o farts, Butters does sound like Kyle. But in Butters' next speaking part, he sounds like Butters. Not sure whether that episode had MnT using their own voices still, or whether it was computer altered as episodes are today.

Of course, Matt Stone does both voices of Kyle and Butters, so idk what happened. But, it's only for 2 seconds

Awww... the song Butters sang when they took Cartman away made me wanna cry. This is such an awesome episode.

The part where they think Cartman is a robot made to act as a human, and the scientist refuses to reprogram him... Im guessing thats a spoof of the movie Short Circuit?

Matt does the voice for Kyle and Butters. Their voices are practically identical, except for Butters accent. But yeah, Matt seemed to have lessened that accent and he did sound an awful lot like Kyle.
