I've never seen Heavy Metal, but I'm aware of the publication it's based on, and the stories contained within. BTW, if you get a chance, check out Richard Corbin's artwork. It's amazing.

Could the Episode Title "Major Boobage" be a play on the Captain Steern character in Heavy Metal?

Mabey the "Major" is the military title, not specifically an adverb

The movie was a collection of stories that could be found in the magazine, hence why they didn't really have anything to do with one another with the exception of the Loc-Nar. The preview clip reminds me of the Den story.

As a male college student, which makes up a large amount of South Park viewers, I don't know what to really think of it. Major boobage and a drug craze might be the only thing to look forward to. I have never seen Heavy Metal since it is before my time. I think it is going to be an adequate episode.

this morning i tried to find out all i could about heavy metal, cause this movie came out freakin'
15 years before i was born! anyway, i saw the trailer and it was awesome, even though it didn't tell me crap about the storyline!
i also saw some clips from the movie, and this is my description of heavy metal from what i've seen:

it's a
creepy
violent
science fiction
porno
with rock music.

and yet i want to watch the whole thing very badly!

As long as its better than episode 1202, then I got no complaints. Im looking forward to exploring Kenny's (and every man's) long-running obsession with breasts. kenny is very much the 'every-man' of the south park boys.
