haha, episode was good cause it rang some truth... not to mention making me laugh.

come on, how long have you guys been using the internet? didn't it make you go nuts when it stopped working for a day or two? especially back in the old days... this episode finally highlights all our e-addictions.

Oh, I spaz when my internet dies, which is why the beginning was hillarious. I never read Grapes of Wrath, but I caught the Wiki article so I understood the internet being replaced for "jobs" in the black and white convorsation.

The episode seemed time pushed in length, and that's a shame because they could've went deeper. Kyle wasn't bummed Stan left, yet they aired 30 minutes before this one where Stan was basically bummed, depressed but determined to get his friend back, where Kyle just didn't seem to react. (I do note the cut scene we saw on the web, but that wasn't aired). Isn't Stan and Wendy together, no quick good bye to her or anything? Stan you bad boy!

The camp scene was where the episode slowed, the drawings were great, but they just focused on the porn the remaining scenes of the Camp part which would've lost it's touch if not for Randy sitting in his semen.

The router part was good too, namely because majority of the viewers own one of those and i'm sure we all had to reboot the p.o.s, and Kyle's solution was inane but simple enough for us to enjoy. I loved the Sniper shooting at it too.

The speech...not too interesting, I understood Randy's point, but the speech spat out stuff we already knew. I forget where Randy with the Eagle was referencing to, but so be it.

I rewatched it with my brother and his friend. I laughed harder because they laughed more, but same thing, after the freak out it died down until the router, then died until the masturbation, then that was it.

I liked the concept, but sadly I think this episode could've had a better delivery. Somewhat predictable. I love Randy Marsh, but sometimes less is more. Although, as mentioned before, the spooge part was inevitable and hilarious. And I also liked the big router.

I have never read or seen the Grapes of Wrath, so I didn't catch any parallels between the novel and this ep, but it was obvious to me that they were setting up a parable.

I was really looking forward to this ep and held too high of an expectation for it. I give it 2/5 cheesy poofs.

I hope next week they rip on either polygamists or the pope's appearance in America.

I'm a huge South Park. I've been one for years and despite what many have said, I really enjoyed this episode. I hate to say that I wasn't too impressed with the beginning of season 12, but this episode gave me some hope.

Also, I could really relate to it in so many ways. I rely so much on the internet for school, e-mail and other things. I actually get concerned if the Internet doesn't work (of course not hysterical like the people of South Park). When Kyle said that he tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, I definitely related because that's what I do when the wireless goes off. What a great connector with the audience!!

It was cool to see the Mac screen with "you are not connected to the internet" shown on Stan's computer. I have a Mac and actually said aloud, "It's a Mac!." I love Mac computers. In fact, I'm using mine to type this message.

Anyway, round of applause to Trey and Matt!! This episode was a hit in my book.

Wasn't as good as I expected, but good enough for my little mind. The router was funny, I just got one that looks just like that! That adds to the humor. :)

8.9/10 I find this episode funnier than last weeks but a little stuff still just feels unsatisfactory.

The bad parts mostly involved character contribution. This is Stan's biggest role since "the List" but he still hardly did anything. Wendy is still gone oddly enough. Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny (I guess I should include Butters too) hardly did anything. Kenny and Cartman (and Butters) did nothing but stand in a few brief shots. Kyle was really under used. Stan's his best friend and he does nothing about him leaving. His solution to the crisis also seems abrupt. In addition to that Mr. Tweek should be in charge of the coffee shop (I know it's Harbucks but really it IS the same as Starbucks.)

Also the reaction of people to the loss of the internet was a little dissatisfactory. (Except in the beginning) everyone doesn't really do much about losing the internet. I'm sure everyone remembers the Y2K panic. It would have been better if there was a state of extreme panic instead of despair. Anarchy is way cooler than depression. Something like Tweek running across the street professing the end of all we know would have been a nice touch in the beginning. It just would have been more entertaining if there was more action involved.

On a good note everything involving Randy was awesome. His parts were hilarious. Shelly was also great in how she was used. This is Shelly's biggest role since an episode I can't even remember. The way the people in charge handle the crisis was also very funny.

Overall the episode was very good. It only had some big holes.

I'll admit, I enjoyed the episode, I think the Randy character in recent years has been overexposed, but he was hilarious in this episode especially with his obsessions like besteality (sp?) & Japanese girls puking on each other. The black and white scene was the only dull scene.

Not bad so far from Season 12, the Britney episode was the only one that was bad from what I've seen (still need to see Major Boobage and Canada Strike)

Okay... Matt and Trey have had better, ALOT better. This has got to be one of the worst SP's that I have seen. The porn thing was funny but that was about it. Come on guys.. Make us laugh again! Do something with Towlie and Butters!!!
Do you like fishsticks? Then you must be a gay fish!
Favorite Character: Butters of course!
Favorite Episode: Fishsticks now... Was Fellowship of the rings.

This season is pathetic so far. I didn't think they could have an episode more unfunny than Canada on Strike or the Britney episode but they managed to do it. This was just awful.

Was there one person watching that didn't know what the "end joke" was going to be from the moment they saw the big modem? "Yeah, all the big computer experts won't be able to figure out the problem and then some 8-year-old will come up and just recycle the modem ...ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Are these guys friggin' serious? One of the lamest episodes of all time.

Yeah... it hit the bottom of the barrel!! How can you say that it was funny?? The ONLY thing funny about this episode was when Randy Spunked all over himself!!! You obviously havent been watching SP very long... Watch some of the older seasons and then judge this episode... I'm sure you will see that this episode wasnt funny at all!!

Reminds me of when I was 16. We only had 1 computer and it was in my mom's room. My mom would always come up "get off the internet and go to bed" and I'd be like "just one more thing I have to do" "Just let me finish this"

Yoohoo or something to that effect (instead of Yahoo) was funny because there is (or was) a search engine of that name back when I was in 8th grade. In school they had the internet filtered and we somehow bypassed it using that search engine.
Stan and Kyle :)

Seriously, what the hell? The interracial gangbang drawing was funny as hell. Everything else was extremely lame.

This season has sucked SO MUCH ASS that it's incomprehensible. The fact that "Major Boobage" is being touted as the best episode since "Scott Tenorman Must Die" (it isn't) pretty much sums up season 12.

I used to be excited to watch the new episodes of south park. Now I'm starting to find myself just hoping that I don't feel embarrassed for Trey and Matt for putting this bullsh*t on tv
