Ha, I liked the opening.

I thought it was all good. It started to kinda go slightly downhill by the Dancing With Smurfs part.
Finally some Mr. Mackey.

I'm hoping this shows up on The Daily Show. Jon loves to pick on Glenn Beck and Fox News. This could be good for South Park when it comes to ratings. This is probably the season winner. Just like Season 11's 2nd to last, Guitar Queer-O I think that made a ratings record.

While I agree a lot with Beck on most issues, I liked this episode. This episode gets at least 8 stars just for the scene of Butters running from Wendy's house with his pants down.

I've been wondering if they would do a Beck show, maybe just because he's Mormon and SP seems fascinated with that. It's also really easy to make fun of him for the way he acts. From the content of all of South Park's episodes, I'd bet they agree with him on a lot of issues too.

On what issues, exactly?

That Obama is a Socialist? That he is secretly trying to turn the government into an Oligarch... I mean Oligarchy? Or simple, fiscal issues?

Fiscally, maybe, but only at the core. Fiscal values, smaller government. It ends when you go insane and call simple health care provided by a government COMMUNISM.

They may not agree with a public option, but I can tell you, they don't agree with this assh*le.

butters pissing on wendys house was amazing

Told you, RTL. I was surprised that you didn't see why it was going to be about Beck from the preview.

You don't even have to follow politics much, it's still obvious as hell.

I dunno. I don't watch or really pay attention to Glenn Beck so I didn't find as funny as some of you guys out there. I thought it was mocking Rush Limbaugh for much of the episode. I would have given it a 5 out of 10 except for two redeeming factors: the scene with Butters running with his pants down the street was ridiculous, and I laughed my ass off at the idea that Cartman confused James Cameron's Avatar with his story for Dancing with Smurfs.

Well, this certainly was a Cartman-gasmic episode for sure. A lot of people were surprisingly dead on with their predictions in this episode about references to Glenn Beck and even the upcoming James Cameron movie, "Avatar", relevance with the Smurfs bit, although citing it as being Wendy's movie I thought was just a genius plot-twist.

Now, about the episode itself, it was some nice spotlight over Cartman and his characteristic slander and deceit in order to gain attention & credibility (a lot like Beck himself, I'm sure). The whole Smurf documentary was definitely the highlight of the episode (so much concern about the Smurfberries was hilarious), along with the Wendy interview scene, but the rest of the show, I felt, lacked quite a bit in comparison. The first scene with the audible off-screen murder of Gordon was somewhat grimly amusing, though; Butters was predictably freaking out, while Rebecca & Clyde looked like they couldn't care less about what was happening. What cold-hearted tykes they are.

Decent episode overall, I thought. I loved how Wendy, although having not kicked Cartman's ass again physically this time, had left him butthurt in his ego with flipping the whole hating campaign right back onto him when he's the one carrying the load. Knowing Cartman, though, he'll be bouncing back with another assholish scheme on someone else next season. Look forward to that, but for now, I'll just laugh at Cartman's crumbled dignity.

Oh yeah, the Casey Miller ending announcements about Cartman were f*cking epic.

Lol such a freaking awesome and hilarious episode. I love Wendy so much! I loved how she turned Erics own tactic of humiliation against himself. Wendy rules! I just wish she played a bigger part. She is so Awesome!

I don't have a tv anymore. A friend tried to watch the movie Dune on it, and it was so horrible the tv died. (True story)

Just looking at past episodes (and their commentaries) off the top of my head, they all are against...

Hate crime legislation (Chef goes nanners)
Bans on smoking (Butt Out, Matt and Trey argue from the view of a business owner and against regulators)
Global warming (that episode about Earth Day and Terrance and Phillip in season 5, and that episode about The Day after Tomorrow )
Hillary Clinton (I can't remember all the episodes but there's alot that just make fun of her cankles and stuff, plus there's the Snuke, maybe it's all in jest)
Atheism (Hot Catholic Love, Go God Go trilogy)
Hippies (various episodes, Die hippies)
Fascism (Butt Out)
Maybe abortion? (Kenny dies, Crips and Bloods episode)

They're all for capitalism (the underpants knomes episode and Butt Out)

They're friends with Penn and Teller and they love their show, bullsh*t, so I'm guessing they agree with a lot of what's on there. Which means they basically think government should be involved in the military and the courts, nothing more. They're libertarians.

They probably disagree on Mormonism and I doubt Matt and Trey would go along with all the sobbing over America and shrouding themselves in the flag like Beck does (which I think is one reason they made the episode). They're patriotic but I think there's some line in the sand between them and Beck.

Of course it's hard to tell a person's view through their satire, their main focus is to make something entertaining and funny, which they are very good at.

But just from their commentaries, where they are talking candidly, they are for capitalism, they hate hippies, and they've called themselves conservatives on issues like smoking bans.

I honestly don't think they want to be known for their political views though, they just want to make good shows.

most of that is true, the only thing though is that they can admit that his methods of portraying his views are different than others like Hannity and the like.
