This episode is the reason I can't wait for Season 14 to be on DVD.

I was just thinking about an old story I heard... sadly, there were no details that I could use to find out if it was true or not.

The idea is that a class of college students were engaging in some literary analysis. The book has one passage in particular that they keep talking about as they try to figure out what it means. One group of students gets the bright idea of writing a letter to the author to ask. So they write him, "What did you mean when you wrote that the dog jumped over the fence?" Eventually, they get a response. That response was, of course, "I meant that the dog jumped over the fence." There was no symbolism or deeper meaning to that particular passage at all.

And then I think that it would be pretty funny if The Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs was a real book and we could see how people would analyze it.

I love this episode,it would of been nice to have the boys become popular because of the book,but making butters taking credit is funnier

Ugh.... I hate storyboards like this... Trey and Matt, nothin against you, I lov South Park, its just agonizing watching Butters become so famous for something thats not his cause the boys are ignorant [Michael Jackson]
Still, it has some pretty funny crap...

I really do love the storyline of this episode. The boys write a book then blame Butters for it, afraid they would get in trouble. Turns out their parents loved it, as do everyone else and Butters becomes famous for it! And he won't allow the boys to take the credit, knowing they do things like this to him all the time. I love it. I just wish the boys won't individual stories, or writing their own story was an assignment. I think it would have been great fun to see what Stan, Cartman, Kyle, and Kenny wrote, and have the scenes go back and forth to each boy as they imagined the story.

Glad to know I'm not the only person who thinks SJP is ugly. I can't picture Butters watching or liking the Kardashians. Meh...

All in all, story-wise, love it. Just a few things here and there that could have made it better. 8/10

I don't know if I'm the only one but the title of this episode reminded me of Captain Underpants.

Mediocre episode I say. The scenes I like was where Cartman planning to kill Sarah Jessica Parker and Butters told the boys to suck on his wiener. Other than that it was indeed a good episode.

I thought the cracks at Sarah Jessica were funny out of a long line of shows that havnt been so funny

and the pokes at the literary world were funny

Like Really he need to stop dieing
