The same way the news networks do; it's fair use. Plus I'm pretty sure no political speech by anyone seeking office is protected by copyright. It would be to the detriment of the office seeker or holder if it was. Besides, once it's already happened, things like debates have lost their only value: exclusive live broadcast rights.

Should be interesting. Will be fun to see the armies of rabid GOP types coming in afterwards and bitching about South Park being 'biased and unfair' (Not meant as a general jab against the right, Gemini.) And yes, I too think it'll probably be at least a 2-parter.

A two-parter would do justice for a storyline like this, it would elevate the drama and suspense to a whole new level. Also, I want to see all of the kids working together like in Bass To Mouth, not just the main five boys. My prospects of seeing tonight's episode may be in jepoardy though because there's a cable outage in my area. I've seen 51 consecutive South Park episodes on their first showing, which dates back all of the way to 2008.

Glad to see that people agree with my idea it may be a Two-Parter. It just seems like one of those stories they need more than one episode to cover.

I have read that the cat symbolizes consistancy and principles and that is why Ron Paul is taken out at the end and replaced with the cat. I just wished that Trey and Matt would have made it a bit more obvious that they were trying to convey this message. Ron Paul is a saint amongst demon candidates that pander and go with the flow of whatever is possible. On the other hand I would have liked Ron Paul to be at the very end of the show..sort of giving the connection between the cat and him a proper conclusion. Funny as hell though for sure.

Ron Paul 2012!!!
