Ohmygod, I have not laughed that hard in a LONG time, LOL!! I don't know what all the hate is with Kyle eating Cartman's farts, that was HILARIOUS and I love Kyle!! Priceless, I loved it. And Stan asking if he should try them, too!! Hahahaha!! Like someone else said, it totally made me think of AssBurgers where all the SP people were eating Cartman's burgers after he stuck them in his pants. I loved when Kyle went to Mackey about it, haha, that was awesome!! I don't get why people don't like the farts. Hasn't Cartman been farting on Kyle forever now? And, ha, how ironic at the end, too priceless, Kyle never even had to eat a fart period! Awesomeness

I came here to get an insight from the fans as to a few jokes i thought I may have missed. What a bloody mistake, you goons riled me up so much I had to make an account to vent. I hope the creators never pass through here. Or maybe they should, it is truly hilarious come to think of it how all of you with such a vested interest in the show - enough to make an account - get the wrong end of the stick so badly. Maybe it's because you're 13 or American, in which case the joke is on me but i suspect otherwise and that is tragically, hilariously depressing.

Having an account on here doesn't mean we like each and every new episode. I find many of the new ones to be rather dull; almost as dull as you. If your sole purpose of creating an account was to vent, you're no better off than the people you're making a pathetic attempt at ridiculing.

Niels0827, I know that you are upset, but don't put the new ones at the same sac, please. I'm one of them. But I try, like many new ones, to participate, be part of this, to inform. And to feel many point of views. I don't know if I'm included on the citation, but felt myself like. Again, I try. But if I am not desirable here, as the other new ones, it's ok. This post of mine is only to clarify and see if I am on the right way. So, don't feel yourself offended, it's not personal to you. If no answer to me or other new ones here, I don't about them, but to me, at least, I'll understand that I am done. But, repeat, it's ok.

Cartman repeatedly farting on Kyle wasn't exactly a runner. They do a lot of those, of course, but this week was different because it was integral to the plot. By showing what Kyle has endured over and over, his transformation into a self-righteous fart monk makes total sense. All the different humiliating ways Fatass makes Kyle eat his farts push him ever closer to his 'transformation' in act 3. It was no mere running gag and should not be dismissed as such.

From what I saw and heard on the audio podcast, this was a pretty good episode. I particularly liked the running gag of just because Kyle is Jewish that he would understand what the people from Israel said. But they spoke English

Then Mr. Mackey or Principal Victoria would say to Kyle: "Did you get any of that?" It was English! roflmao :)

This episode was brilliant in my opinion.

Along with Informative Murder Porn, Taming Strange, and Let Go, Let Gov, one of the episodes this season that I'd consider to be a true South Park classic.

Did the "runner" with Kyle eating Cartman's farts last a bit too long for my taste? Possibly. But I'd call it a major element of the plot as opposed to just a throwaway or any kind of pointless runner.

Anyway, highlights of the episode for me:
-Kyle "translating" the English spoken by the Jews/Israelis
-The meeting at the Airport Hilton
-Van Halen
-Craig - "well now he just sounds like a self-righteous as*hole"
-The revelation of the real prophecy (the inflection and accent used to speak the line "a fat boy with a small p*nis would decorate a cow to look ginger" had me cracking up like crazy)
-Cartman - "I have a huge d*ck"
-Kyle's dessert (it made the bit about farts funny again for me after I was admittedly tiring a bit of it)

I know I've been critical of the episodes from seasons 1-3 in the past, but in all fairness, those episodes are beyond great to revisit for a feeling of nostalgia, even if the writing isn't up to par with the stuff from season 5 or thereabouts to the present.

This episode completely succeeded in inducing that nostalgic feeling regarding old-school South Park, despite being a current episode and thus not truly something nostalgic in nature.

Thank you, zzyzx 2.

News on the journalist's screen, from AL AZIZ NETWORK (read Al-Jazeera Network - the network's symbol is almost the same)

"Jeune garcon trouve une vache gingembre.

Un jeune garcon joufflu du Colorado, Etats-Unis, a trouve une vache de gingembre dimanche. Il marchait pres de un paturage quand il a trebuche sur la geisse. Les qutorites sont perplexes quant a savoir qui est proprietaire de la vache ou d'lou " (d'où?) " il vient. Toute la ville de South Park est etonne de la decouverte. Plus de nouvelles apres le saut."

Translation:

A Young Boy Finds a "Ginger Root"'s Cow (Gingembre in french means ginger root, not ginger - roux in french means ginger)

Jeune garçon trouve une rousse vache.

Soon, the rest of the translation, if I survive from it (I don't speak french). Anyone can help?

Note: Ow, I think... the picture has Cartman "implanted" beside the cow with, like a... photoshop edition... :D Agree?

There is no joke inside:

Un jeune garçon joufflu Colorado, Etats-Unis, a trouvé une vache rousse le dimanche. Il marchait près d'un pâturage face à Geisse. Les autorités sont confus quant à savoir qui est le propriétaire de la vache ou d'où il vient. Toute la ville de South Park a été surpris par la découverte. Plus de nouvelles après le saut.

A chubby young boy from Colorado, United States, found a ginger cow on Sunday. He walked near a pasture when faced with a "Geisse" (?). The authorities are confused as to who is the owner of the cow or where it comes from. The entire town of South Park was surprised by the discovery. More news after the jump.

Couldn't agree more. I am in desperate need of a Bronsonesque beatdown on Cartman's fat ass.

That said, "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" with the fist-pumping documentary footage was priceless. Hey! Hey! Hey!
You know - I've learned something today.

Why is it that cartman can be an insufferable, sadistic assh*le to everyone for the entire series run, but the second kyle acts slightly dickish, which I find completely understandable after the sh*t he has been through, it is deserved? Poor kid was probably messed up by all that fart torture.

I enjoyed the episode though, I loved stan and kenny's role in the show. I haven't seen enough of them this season and they played a key part in the episode (even if kenny only did get like half a line)

He probably was. Then again, according to the "Kyle is a victim of fart poisoning" logic, Cartman is a victim even moreso. Just imagine what he's been through with all the toxic crap brewing inside of him! Obviously there's no way for Cartman to prevent it from going to his own head. If taken in small doses that sh*t causes other people to hallucinate and become total dicks, then for Cartman the effect must be that of Kyle times one thousand. The only difference between them is that Kyle started to ihale Cartman's farts on purpose, thinking it would make him a great peacekeeper. But it only made him a great a-hole. Very much like Cartman.

Hard to explain, but let's go.

Note 1: The rebuilding of the Temple of Jerusalem: it's the EVENT, it's a WOW moment for all religions. Not only because history events before or geo-political, but also because is described (poorly) inside many prophecies as one of the signs before the "BEGINNING OF THE END" (Apocalypse or the end of the world).

Note 2: The red heifer is interpreted as one of the signs before the rebuilding of the Temple of Jerusalem.

So, to "make a long story short": red heifer > Temple rebuild > The End.

Beginning before the end: Many events before the end truly: war, smoke, etc that will conclude with the end. The end can be the end of the world or 1000 years with peace, depend on which people you talk with. The vast majority of the people... boooo Wendy booo.... the majority of the people of the entire world believes that it's the end of the world, and "people that is still living on these events will pray to be dead, because the suffering will be huge" (poor citation from Revelations).

So to "make a long story short" the journalists prefer to kill themselves instead of living these prophecies times/events. But we have many details, descriptions, interpretations, symbols, that, to make a long story short, I'll not describe here :D :D :D

Off topic: The Network fron Iran stamp we read: "اخبار دنیای ایر آنی" that means, on sequence "instantaneous | air | World | News". For example, W O R L D is writed as: دنیای - د ن ی ا ی from right to the left. No jokes inside :(

^^^^ for all the reasons rodgw listed.

Also it's a common punch line in South Park - go from something the kids do that is seemingly innocuous - with one even kid even scoffing at it's lack of importance - and South Park will then cue to the TV news covering whatever that something was, and it will have instantly become the center of the universe.
