In Terrance and Phillip: Behind The Blow, Clyde approaches ultra liberal Earth Day coordinators and says HIS dad is a geologist and says there is no proof of global warming.

But earlier in season 3 (Spontaneous Combustion) the mayor got together a crack team of all the scientists in South Park to find out why people spontaneously combust:

Randy Marsh, Geologist.


Does this mean that there are now 2 geologists in SP? or a blooper? Or did i just f*cking overanalyze the whole situation?

They probably mean for it to be Stans line but realized he couldn't say it.

and as for there being 2 geologists... maybe Clydes dad works in another town.

yes, i have seen that too. i asked it on the FAQ page, but no answer. maybe Clyde's dad wasn't a geologist, then he became one AFTER spontaneous combustion, then he quit that job, so now he owns a shoe store...so there is still only ONE geologist in South Park. XD

In the later seasons, you'll notice that there are more than one geologist in the same office, and that Randy has a boss ("About Last Night"), so Clyde's dad is a geologist too.
