This is a plot hole and a question in "Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants". Why would the military keep the cargo bay pressurized and heated so that the 4 boys and the goat could survive?

Perhaps it was a Lockheed C-130 Hercules. They have fully pressurized cargo holds that can be used to safely transport troops if necessary.
To believe in something just because you're afraid of the consequences if you don't believe in something is no reason to believe in something.
