I know they mix up the more unimportant voices all the time but to mix Stan's voice with Kyle's, that's pretty bad............ xD

I read somewhere (I think on Will's site) that Butters' and Clyde's voices were mixed up in that ep too. I listened to it, but don't really hear it.

Does someone know whether they record the voices first and then give the tape to the animation people who make the lip sync -thing (or whatever), or if they are watching it animated while they do the voices for it? If it's the 1st one, then it the voice goofs make a lot more sense than if it's the 2nd choice that's right... What the hell can they be thinking so that they mistake Stan for Kyle and Butters for Graig?!

Oooooooooooooh yeah! stan does hve Kyles voice - i had to check because i didnt notice . . . but its true! How could they mix that up? (Its quite funny actually!)

Don't hold me to it, but I believe they record voices, then animate and sync the mouths. Many times there may be changes made to the story as recording and animating goes on, then they have to re-do voices, and re sync. Really, that's pretty much the way all animated productions go.
