In the "Krazy Kripples" episode in Season 7, Jimmy's last name is given as Swanson. In "Up the Down Steroid" in Season 8, it's changed to Jimmy Vulmer.

I am pretty sure it is also swanson when he is first introduced in the episode with the boy scouts.

I'm pretty sure they changed Jimmys last name because of the Family Guy character "Joe Swanson" who is also crippled or atleast this is just a rumour I heard but it would explain the name change.

When Christopher Reeves is on Larry King, he demonstrates how he can't lift his arms. However, right after showing that, he is able to lift his arms up to his mouth in order to drink the fetus. Kind of nit-picky I know, but this is one of my favorite episodes and I have seen it a bunch of times.
