lately on the new episode ideas i heard alot of people talking about cartman being emo or just emo people in south park so i thought of a good episode idea:

A new group of kids come to south park and they're emo. When they go to school cartman calls them fags so theycry and everyone laughs at them but then they cut themsleves (cause thats what emo kids do) and everyone thinks they're cool. And later on everyone wants to be emo except the goth kids who get mad at the emo so they have a battle where the goth kids try to show everyone how cool being goth is and in the end Kyle learns a lesson where cutting yourself is bad and goths just hate life and everyone shouldn't be hating life.

I've wanted them to make an Emo episode for a while, it would be awesome cause I hate emo music with all my heart.

that would be f*cking awesome, maybe the emos and goths could have some kind of depress-o-thon to see who can stay sad for the longest time without any ounce of joy! Dun dun dun.... Anyway, I love your idea. End.

See, up until you mentioned the whole "cutting themselves" thing, I had absolutely no idea what it meant to be "emo." The only thing I think of when I hear that is that irritating comedian, Emo Phillips. (Watch Weird Al's UHF movie to see him lose a finger.)

You could slip that in as a side joke, like Garrison asking why they'd wanna be like HIM, just to show his/her ignorance on the subject.

Thats so odd because I had the same sort of idea about and emos vs goths episode when I was younger. I had a whole script written for it. I looked back on it a few years later and thought it was crap, but now I think the idea itself is really killer. I guess I'm content with them using vampires instead of emos.

P.S. That "Depress-O-Thon" idea sounds classic!

Yeah, interesting idea, but I think you fail to realize that this idea was already done and was done well by Matt and Trey in Season 12. This plotline is almost identical to The Ungroundable, in which a group of goth imitators, like emos, prove how idiotic their attempts at suddenly becoming "dark" are, just because of a fad. I have a feeling we won't be seeing any goth centered episodes for awhile, especially ones with such similar plots to recent episodes.
