So the boys are at the bus stops acting like them selfs. When 2 tv directors named Trey and Matt see them and ask if they want to do a tv show and they go with it.

Haha omg that would make a hilarious episode. Stan would be like to Kyle "That guy Matt reminds me abit of you, Kyle" and Kyle would be like "And that dude Trey reminds me of you, Stan"

I heard in a comentary they said that it would be too much self grattafacation to put them selves in an episode. But on the other hand it is a good idea.

Weren't two of the 'ugly kids' in The List based on Matt and Trey, though?

It's a good idea, but perhaps it would be better if they could make a cameo in one of the episodes. Like a lot of people before have said, that'd be too much self-gratification on their part.

On the other hands, it would be awesome if they did that for one of the last episodes.

They already did that back in season 4, when the boys made their own Spirit of Christmas video. The episode is based on the true story of Matt and Trey making the second Spirit of Christmas video which you can find with a simple search. They haven't gone further than that, simply because their story isn't over yet. I could see this coming out as a movie a year or two after the show goes off the air.

How about they see episodes of south park themselves and going to Comedy Central HQ asking "why the **** did you put us in a TV show?" or something like that?
