In Imaginationland part 1 when the mayor takes the boys to Imaginationland he takes Stan, Kyle, Butters, and Jimmy...when they escape Imaginationland....Butters is left behind and Stan, Kyle, Jimmy, AND KENNY are on the dragon leaving Imaginationland then Kenny isn't seen for the rest of the episode or in parts 2 and 3

Thats a good point, kenny is not on the imagination ship with the guys but he appears on the dragon with them? I think kenny might have been doing some experiments with psychedelic drugs and that he magicaly appeard in the imagination realm, perhaps a precursor to the Major Boobage episode where he goes to boob land? if they decide to nuke boob land then kenny and kyle's dad might be found there riding on the bird thing?
