You can't expect any cartoon, especially South Park, to be consistent in its canon. In 'Make Love, Not Warcraft', Kenny has a computer that not only has internet access, but is capable of playing a game, so it's not an old piece of shit, either.

Also, didn't you notice that Kenny had a funeral in 'The Ring'? Do you think his family can cough up several thousand bucks for a funeral instead of mere hundreds for a cremation?

It was revealed earlier in the episode that Kenny's girlfriend gets extremely horny when witnessing the Jonas Brothers. Now, we all know Kenny would do anything to have sex with a girl OLDER than him, so his poverty would be a pretty small obstical to him.
