Just a heads up folks, we are all geared up ready for tonight's new ep, which is due to show on Comedy Central in the States tonight @ 10pm local time (Where shown).

For those in the UK, the ep will air on Comedy Central week this FRIDAY 23rd @ 10pm.

Two rooms will be running tonight, with a new room (#spspoilers) especially for SPOILERS, so those in chat who have yet to see the new ep, will not have their experience spoiled.

Lot's of activity in #sps tonight. It's there 24/7 but will be most active on show nights.

if you mean that game/chat thing? I can't say as you need a FB to join the chat (and I don't have FB anymore). I guess I could have played the game, without chatting, but I didn't even look. #sps was fine. Besides, last fall that room was only active 1/2 hour BEFORE airing; this season they were also supposed to have quizzes DURING the show as well. But after the airing, that place was dead last fall.

This original #sps now has a direct URL link (which is in my sig); so no IRC client is needed. At least two people tonight said they used the URL link; one of them had lost their data on their computer last year and no longer has an IRC client so the URL link save the day.

Yeah, it wasn't even hinted at this time around, heh.

There was apparently a trivia tonight before the episode, but I missed it. I'm going to be working soon anyway, which will likely require me to be out of the house when episodes air, so I'm not really going to be as active. I've already been bumped from being number 1 on the leaderboard, so meh...

When I get a job, it won't make a difference.

I hope they put up the chat rooms again! And new episodes, because I'm getting kinda inpatient XD

Under this topic of: How Do You Get To The Chat? <--- the current way to get to the chat as of March 2012 (and current to today) is to either click on my sig link, or else just click on the link directly:

You then are prompted to enter a "nickname" and click on a button and you're in the chat.

Be aware that once you get to chat there may be ppl in there they may by afk (away from their keyboard). These ppl are called "idlers." There may be more idlers than chatters in the chat room. It is best to try it at different times of the day.

It's totally not working for me, the past few weeks.

It should be now.

Think I have the web client set to the Esteban server, which has been down with a major fault, though it is now working.

The alternative client hosted at Chatabout though should always work, as it connects using the networks RR address.

I am assuming that chatabout.net:9090/?channels=sps%2Cspspoilers&uio=d4 is a browser based chatroom, and not IRC. I haven't used IRC since the days of Call of Duty: United Offensive.

Either way, the connection keeps timing out, and it will not connect. Not sure if this is a client or server side problem, but I really want to chat

This has an on-site based chat client (Zero install) as well as one hosted by the Chatabout IRC network (Best of the two), which connects you directly to chat, however if you prefer to use a standalone IRC client, full server info is also included, or use the auto-connect link for mIRC / ChatZilla.
