Wait, it's taken until season 16 for people to realize that the mythology of major religions is messed with heavily in the show? Jewpacabra was the latest in a long line of parodying major religions.
Let it be said that when they decide they want to actually get the info right, they do get it right. Sometimes the truth is so absurd that you don't really need hyperbole (Scientology and Mormon episodes). But it's more fun in most cases to take certain things in a literal manner or to take it to its logical end. It's not laziness, but rule of funny.
Between this and all the pointing out of the discontinuity concerning the casting in the ziplining episode really makes me think people really don't quite know what satire is.

dont see why EVERYONE seems to dislike the fact that this show now has more plotline. I personally love it.

still cant believe Scientology actually exists.
also,am I the ONLY ONE who has noticed that SP is not pure comedy? I mean, anyone you ask will not even think about anything besides comedy. but it has plot-line and other stuff and everything. why don't people notice it, and if they do, they hate on it? It is really getting on my nerves.

I LOVED this episode (the whole season at that) and I don't understand why people don't like them having plots. It's not like the plot was boring or didn't make any sence. It was still funny as sh*t~
Also, I wonder if Cartman is sticking with being Jewish since he has not made fun of Jews since that episode...well the live action Cartman did say 'Stupid Jew,' but that was it!

Because it actually takes years to convert, and because there really isn't a threat of eternal damnation in judaism if you aren't jewish, he would have to be genuinely sincere about wanting to become jewish before any rabbi would talk to him. I know it's just a cartoon, but i wonder how many other jewish people watching know this. I also know that he's probably forgotten the whole thing by now since he started making fun of jews again in the Insecurity episode.
