Today we were supposed to have a gig that was a warm up for a pretty big concert this summer. But our guitar player canceled it. His guitar was malfunctioning, then he borrowed a guitar that was also malfunctioning. We offered to borrow another guitar, but he refused, saying he can't play like that.
It would be okay if were the first time he had done something like that, but it's not.
It's not the first time, and we're getting tired. Really tired.
I', so f*cking frustrated, I can't take it anymore.
My keypad took the whole brunt of my frustration.
Tomorrow I have to buy a new keypad.

The really freaky thing is I have absolutely no recollection of me writing previous post. I was hammered last night, but I don't think I was that drunk. I can't remember anything since I left the club I was in last night. Maybe it's because the state I was in.

In other news, my friend got back from prison last night. We throw him a surprise party. But I couldn't stand it. Everybody was happy and I was on the edge of a nervous breakdown.

Other than that two Croatian generals were found not guilty in the Haag War Tribunal yesterday after seven years of trial, and my brother's best friend was also released from prison today.
Heh! This makes us look like a nation of criminals.

I bought a new keyboard today. Extra slim, but the keys are not too sensitive, so it's quite easy to type.

Been there more times than I would care to admit. It disturbs the hell out of me, so I've just kind of laid off both influences - the drink and the posting. I'm better for it, so hooray for keeping hedonistic sloppiness in check.

Monty, you need to lose your guitar player. If he waffles on a gig because he doesn't want to play on another guitar, then screw him. There's a million other guitarists out there waiting for an opportunity, and you need the same level of commitment from everyone.

Nice keyboard, btw. I think I'll avoid pissing you off.

Well, the thing is, he is more or less the mastermind behind the band (he wrote most of the songs) and although he's not that great of a player, he is very creative and has his own distinct style. Besides, he has improved tremendously on the subject and hasn't f*cked up anything in over a year.
We've been playing together for so long we can practically read each other minds. It's not easy to find a replacement for him.
