My mum saw Colin Farrell in Waitrose a few weeks back. Her exact words were "Too much makeup, rough as a badgers arse."

"I guess my point in all this is that people get offended very easily."

Boy do they. :D

And yea, food can be racist. I mean...if you look hard enough, that is.

Course it is. I was eating dinner the other night and my baked beans grouped up and started calling me stupid mongrel Welsh Jew... It was the comments from the toast that really hurt.

SOME people are offended very easily. Example - guy hitting on me in bar (clearly he's insane...).

Me: You're clearly insane.
Guy: (grinning silence)

Me: And you're really ugly.
Guy: (grinning silence)

Me: You smell. Bad.
Guy: (more grinning silence and a head shake)

Me: Your mother...

I never finished that sentence.

These days I thank my lucky stars that I can finish any sentences at all. Alls I was gonna say is that his mom was hot...

This morning my breakfast taquito called me a fat-ass wetback mongrel, and I said, look who's talking d-weed, and bit his head off. That'll learn food not to talk back.

But semi-seriously, There was an uncomfortable exchange a few weeks ago between some local news anchors. I only heard the audio on the radio, and didn't catch who it was, or what channel it was on. The black anchor (let's call him Brad for now) on the staff did a story about some sort of weight-loss sucker (the candy), and as they were coming off of footage, and going back to studio, it happened. The exchange went something like this;
Brad: "...without the guilt. Brad Insertnamehere, Channel 0 news."
White dude: "You know, I think I could use one of those."
White chick: *mild-giggle* "I think I could too."
White dude: Hey Brad has one there, What flavor you got Brad, Watermelon?"
The world: ... ... ...
It was so quiet in there, I think I could actually hear the electricity flowing through the wires in the studio. It's a shame I can't find it now.

Well, here in the south, talking about African Americans eating fried chicken is very racist. It's an old stereotype that dates back to the days of slavery.

Welcome to Mike and Jeff.

Now, onto the more topical issue of racism at South Park… I’d like to address a few of the racist comments that people have taken offense to this last week.

“Fried chicken for lunch again?”
Before I heard this, I had no idea that food could be racist. Sure, I knew there were some groups of people that naturally gravitated towards certain foods like how Asians crave lasagna, and how Hindus kill for cheeseburgers (Insert rimshot here). But, I really didn’t think that someone could take offense to eating fried poultry.

Then you must learn... and
