I'm also a bit surprised that people hate this episode as much as they do. It's not one of my favorites, but I've seen much worse, and it shares a lot in common with newer episodes that seem to be favored by many people.

Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina, in my opinion, set the standard for bad episodes. Nobody I know likes that episode, and I consider it to be the worst of any season.

Yeah, that episode was just... wow. The whole thing with Kyle turning 'black' was too weird and not cute. And his legs exploding in the end... and Gerald turning into a dolphin... while that was humorous it was also a little scary and just plain WTF??

Ok, I'm coming around on this episode. I sat and watched all of 13a last night, and this one wasn't as bad as I thought it was the first time I saw it.

I like this episode alot. I still enjoy the show but they are doing celebrities and parodies too often, and episodes like this and Fatbeard are nice breaks away from it (this moreso than Fatbeard). For some reason there always seems to be a news segment on every episode as well.

It's really sad how all finnish people were so excited of this ep, it was even in some newspaper for the ...... finland is just super lame. Even the primeministers accent sounds more swedish in this one. The part of finland nuking itself was fun though. We should really do that.

This is one of my all-time favorite SP episodes. It confirmed to me after a period of "meh" feelings towards the show why I consider SP (at its best) to be near the epitome of great surrealist humor. It reminded me of the best of the old "tree-house of horror" Simpsons episodes or Monty Python's stuff in plot weirdness/freshness, but maintained the tighter, deadpan SP style regardless. I'm not surprised that many people hated this episode...after all, there are two kinds of people in the world, those who "get" absurdity humor, and those who don't.

Dude this show is f*cking awesome!!!!

Just watched this a third time. Again, funny, but not one of my favs.But defiantly not one of the worst. The story seemed to drag just a bit and didn't have too many jokes. I'm not a huge fan of the alien episodes. This episode does indeed show just why Randy fails. Sure he's funny but he fails. He's more concerned about himself than to pay attention to anything anyone in his family says. Props on Stan for doing the right thing. It must have been hard for him since he does not like to tell the truth most of the time. *hand claps* I still think this episode could have gone a number of different ways. I would have liked the alien to have held Stan captive until Randy told everyone the truth.

Anyway, fun episode but there are things that could have made it better. 7.5/10
