Lemme guess, you started watching SP after the Jersey Shore episode?

I was a little worried about this season. The first episode packed a few good laughs but Funny Bot just didn't do it for me and I was hoping that this time around Matt and Trey would redeem themselves. I must say that this episode was definitely funny. It was nice to see an episode about Ike, and all the "tradition" jokes were amusing throughout. The final reveal of the villain was also pretty hillarious. The only problem I had was the very end where they threw in something for the pure sake of shock value. It almost brought the episode down a notch for me. South Park's my favorite show and I've seen every episode, so I understand that its always aimed for controversy, but it seems like the shock value has become more and more present just for the sake of shock.
That being said I really do think the episode was funny, even if the writing has become a bit lazy. This episode was a major step up from the last two, and I can only hope for the best with next week's episode.

Were we watching the same thing? Sometimes, I wonder about people who say something sucks when I say it rules.

Never forget Gem, that people are entitled to their own opinions. That being said, I totally agree with you. That was the funniest episode I've seen in a while.

I'm glad they brought back Ugly Bob; he's such a lovable character.
But, my god, he's so repulsive looking. When Ike took the bag off his head for that moment near the end, I felt physically sick. Stuff that terrible looking should not be allowed on television.

Hahahahaha, what an AWESOME episode. Definitely wasn't the best South Park had ever done, but I found myself laughing A LOT at it. All of the Canadian wedding traditions were insanely funny. The stuff with Mackey directing the play was fantastic, too. Wonder how much of that came from The Book Of Mormon. I loved seeing all the callbacks to previous episodes about Canada, such as Scott and Ugly Bob. They referenced Osama's capture again, but as it was just a small reference, it felt like it had already been done due to last week's episode.

Such a great episode! As is tradition.

Great episode the school play scenes were good, funny seeing Kyle dressed up and singing mr mackey getting mad at everyone and starting to lose it. Ike is cute i liked how he was the starring hero and did care about the princess wanting to save her.Nice to see old characters like Scott & ugly bob for me this is the best episode in the run so far.
