If you mean bigger as in physical size, it may be as I've never been in a Tesco. If you mean bigger as in the company is bigger, then no. Walmart is not only the largest retailer in the world, it is also the largest company in the world.

This is pretty much the only episode I dislike of South Park that I've seen (though I do like the end where it shows the stupidity of the "Screw Walmart, shop at small businesses" people). I love Walmart. I hate the pretentious dicks who are like, "Oh Walmart is bad, they destroy small businesses!" f*ck them, if those small business didn't charge an arm and a leg for everything maybe I wouldn't have to shop at Walmart in the first place. If it wasn't for Walmart many families like mine would starve because they couldn't afford to shop at these small businesses.

It's always funny to see people who act like Walmart is the greedy one in the situation. They act like these small business owners, who originally overcharge on everything and then bitch when they can't afford to anymore, aren't greedy at all. I'm not saying Walmart isn't in it for the money (that's the whole point of running a business), but acting like the small business owners are any different than Walmart makes you look like a hypocritical moron. Like the end of this episode shows, the only difference between Walmart and these small businesses is that Walmart had the time to actually get big. I guarantee these small businesses would be employing the same business practices Walmart does if they were that size.

Why does any store have to take the fate of wall-mart? Can we not control our incessant desire for consumption? If we cannot, then we are most certainly doomed.

This has gotta be one of the best episodes Ive ever seen! lol Its one of my top 3.

This is the kind of episode that will make me miss one Mr Randy Marsh, aka Steamy Ray Vaughn, if he indeed does get left off of the show.

He'll be off somewhere pressing his nipples on whatever window points to Wal Mart in his new digs in the deep of the night I guess, god speed Randy.

This episode show how consumers do a lot of shopping whenever they see lower-prices and they don't care whether they need the stuff they are buying or what will be the affect on the community due to their letting one entity to have a monopoly.
And it is not about wall-mart or any single company. They are so big due to the consumers as we see at the end of the episode what the people do with the pharmacy shop.
And heart of the big corporations are the consumers, and this episode proved that to me. :)
