What are they talking about in the Entertainment Section of the NY Daily News? Tomorrow's episode of South Park, of course!

Find out what they have to say over at nydailynews.com

NY daily news isn't really liberal.

I mean I'm sure it is...But your thinking of the New York Times.

""South Park" revolves around a group of foul-mouthed grammar school kids.

While it has been a critical favorite over the years, it also has been a lightning rod for watchdog groups who have slammed it for content issues. It has also been attacked for the way religion has been presented."

The same narrow-minded fools would have probably written this five centuries ago:

"The Canterbury Tales revolves around a group of foul-mouthed yokels.

While it has been a critical favorite over the years, it also has been a lightning rod for watchdog groups who have slammed it for content issues. It has also been attacked for the way religion has been presented."

I mean, you'd think journalists would have had to have read some books in their life, at some point, and would have learnt how to be critical and analytical, and could have instead written:

"South Park is a satirical show that revolves around four school children, one of which is foul-mouthed, and is a clever satirical device allowing the delivery of both humour and insightful moral views."

To me, that's a more interesting point to make. The fact this point is never made, suggests two things:

1) Journalists are idiots that can barely hold a pen, and probably rely on spell check.
2) Journalists think their readers are idiots, and don't wish them to have to use their brains.

The second paragraph could be made more neutral with "It has been both attacked and praised for the way religion is presented."

Also, could "content issues" be replaced with "pursuing the right to freedom of speech?" Yes it could.

Overall, I would describe such journalism as 'cowardly.'
Favourite South Parks:
1) Christian Rock Hard
2) The Tooth Fairy Tats 2000
3) I'm a Little Bit Country

Proudly boasts to be a South Park Geek. :)

Just read it. There's nothing in that article that we didn't already know, so I can't say it was worth reading.
